Holds a degree of Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria, with a Master’s Degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from the same university, PhD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and Post-PhD from the Federal Technological University of Paraná, both in Poultry Health, he also holds the title of Specialist in Poultry Medicine from North Carolina State University.

A professional with nearly 20 years of experience in poultry and swine health, he served as Research Manager at LAMIC/UFSM, was a founding partner and technical director of SAMITEC, researcher, veterinary and animal health manager at BRF and currently works as Animal Health Consultant at Vetinova – Strategic Animal Health.
